The performance of “Sick” from Shell Silverstein by Eliana was amazing. The theatrical use of gestures and body movement really made the poem come to life. Your rendition of the poem really was both entertaining and meaningful. I am a student at Fresno State with my plan being to become a schoolteacher, the poem you chose reflected both on how I felt as a student and a teacher. This is why I enjoyed your performance and it brought laughter and happiness to my day!

This was such a great performance, reminded me of my kids when they’re “sick.” You did an awesome job memorizing this poem and changing your tone with each symptom presented. You also did a great job maintaining eye contact, I am impressed how much effort you put into this, good job!
